ARTIST OF THE WEEK

A cheerful hail is sent out all the way to Gold coast, Australia, for this week’s Artist of The Week! The singing sensation Gli Amorosi ('The Lovers'), are Alys Cordeaux and Jon Marshall. Singing since early childhood, both completed their MusB Hons at the University of Canterbury, New Zealand, in 2004. Some of their recent highlights include a performance for Ferrari at the “Sotto Le Stelle” (Under the Stars) International Ferrari Rally; an outstanding performance on the catwalk at Palazzo Versace, where they were displaying the latest in haute couture bridal gowns; and an exclusive performance in a concert set in the rain forest at the Phoenix Sculpture Garden and Gallery. When not performing on stage or in the studio, Jon enjoys running and exercising, while Alys enjoys another form of fitness: Driving fast cars! Some of Gli Amorosi’s major influences include their music company and support crew from Bignote Productions; also Adrian Stuckey – musician, composer, sound engineer and producer of their album has proven to be a major motivator and inspiration. “His creative thought, musicality, vision and pure genius are awe-inspiring, to say the least.”
Gli Amorosi is planning a return to the studio later this year, to start laying down tracks for the next album and to shoot a video for their top-selling track “Incomplete” (available on the self titled album, Gli Amorosi).
